New York Mayor Johran Mamdani’s mother Meera Nair has been involved in the Epstein files controversy. Director Meera attended a party at the residence of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-lover Ghizline Maxwell, according to newly released documents. Claims, Meera’s film ‘Amelia’ was released in 2009. He went to that party to promote that film.

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released more than 300,000 pages of the Epstein files. Apart from this, at least two thousand videos and 1 lakh 80 thousand pictures have been published. It has Meera’s picture. Former US President Bill Clinton and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos were in that party. Publicist Peggy Siegel sent Epstein a mail shortly after he returned from the party. His mail also has Meera’s name. The mail reads, “I won’t say that everyone liked Meera’s picture. But women liked it.”

Epstein committed suicide in prison in 2019 after being convicted. His ex-lover and partner Maxwell is still in jail. He was also convicted of child trafficking and Epstein’s sex crimes. US President Donald Trump is named in the Epstein file.

Incidentally, Mamdani, a leftist American Democrat, was elected mayor of New York last year. Meera came into the limelight at that time. He said about his son, “I am amazed by my son’s courage and eloquence. What I like about him is that he has accepted the diversity of this world in an unequivocal way. I am optimistic about the hope he has shown. He has a vision to see this world. And it is not greed for power. Human equality, justice and good deeds are always in favor of people.” Now his name is involved in the Epstein files.
