'Ranabaali' and 'Rowdy Janardhana': Vijay Deverakonda gears up to portray two powerful, real-life-inspired roles

Tollywood Vijay Deverakonda has two big pan-India projects in his pipeline, including ‘ Rowdy Janardhana ’ and ‘ Ranabaali ’. For his next film, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola is seen in a raw and blood bathed look; however, in the other film, ‘Ranabaali’ directed by Rahul Sankrityan, he seems to don a role of a fierce freedom fighter. Re-sharing his post, Vijay Deverakonda added words for both of his directors. He wrote, “Fiercest fellows. Mad passionate storytellers.”
About ‘Ranabaali’For the unversed, Vijay Deverakonda has also worked with Rahul Sankrityan earlier for his film ‘Taxiwaala’. ‘Ranabaali’ brings Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna back together after ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’. The music is composed by Ajay–Atul.
Interestingly, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony on October 3, 2025. The intimate ring exchange was confirmed by Vijay's team to media outlets like Hindustan Times, though the couple has not made a public announcement or shared photos.
