Gautham Vasudev Menon ’s ‘ Dhruva Natchathiram ’ has been the most-anticipated unreleased film in Tamil Nadu , but there’s always some other production/financial issue that keeps pushing the movie’s release into the future. The makers have announced the release date multiple times and then postponed it. Now, however, Gautham Menon has made it clear that he will not be making any other film until ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is released.
Gautham Menon speaks candidly about the struggle and the delay of 'Dhruva Natchathiram'
In a fresh interview with The Hindu , Gautham Menon explained the huge amount of time that the project demanded. He said, "I began with 'Dhruva Natchathiram' and then completed it with Vikram . The movie is what they gossip most about in the whole Tamil cinema . Funding problems nearly made it release; however, it was delayed".
He further added, "I have spent many years resolving these challenges. Currently, I am faced with the problems of the situation in the last phases. I am quite sure that we will have a date to announce as soon as in the upcoming fortnight. No doubt, there was no shortage of films I could have worked on, but to me, it was not interesting. This project will be out first. That is why I have not taken up any new projects." His words clearly reflect both responsibility and emotional commitment to the project.
'Dhruva Natchathiram' tied to years of fan expectations
‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is not simply a case of a lengthy delay; the film is intricately woven into the highly cherished expectations of fans. From the Vikram-Gautham Menon team, the spy theme to the stylish grandeur, action orientation, and the tech-station crew behind it, several factors made the film overhyped from the word go.
