Arsenal re-established their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table by cruising to a 4-0 win against Leeds. Goals from Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus - plus an own goal from Karl Darlow - gave the Gunners a thoroughly deserved three points.
Bukayo Saka sustained an injury during the warm-up and was replaced in the starting XI by Noni Madueke. It was Maduke who created the opening goal, delivering a cross at the second attempt for Zubimendi to head beyond Darlow.
The winger also played a crucial role in the second goal, as Darlow punched Madueke's driven corner punched into his own net. It meant that 'own goal' joined Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard as Arsenal's joint-top scorers in the league.
That remained the case until the Gyokeres netted his sixth league goal of the campaign, connecting with a cross from Gabriel Martinelli. Jesus entered the match from the bench and could've scored three but managed one.

Starting XIDavid Raya – Had little to do in the opening period but needed to deal with a Pascal Struijk header early in the second half which he handled confidently. 7.
Jurrien Timber – Excellent work along the right wing to unlock Leeds, linked up effectively with Noni Madueke. He also delivered some excellent crosses and ought to have registered an assist from Jesus. 8.
William Saliba – Faced the challenge of marking Dominic Calvert-Lewin throughout the match and delivered an outstanding performance. 8.
Gabriel Magalhaes – Displayed commanding presence, strength and composure from start to finish, handling everything that came his way with ease. 8.
Piero Hincapie – Put in a spirited shift at left-back against some tricky wide players. Didn't quite match the impact of his counterpart on the opposite flank, though. 7.

Martin Zubimendi – Fired a tame effort from the edge of the Leeds box straight at Darlow. But it was his headed finish from Madueke's delivery that found the back of the net. An impressive response following his error from the previous week. 8.
Declan Rice – Celebrating his 300th Premier League outing, he produced some excellent, incisive passes, including the one that found Madueke in the build-up to the opening goal. Could have registered an assist when he teed up Jesus as well. 8.
Kai Havertz – Given his first league start since returning to the squad, he wasn't particularly influential during the opening 45 minutes, completing just four passes. Nevertheless, he showed plenty of effort in disrupting play and offered crucial defensive support, including vital clearances from dead-ball situations. 6.
Noni Madueke – Delivered a superb curling delivery to set up the Gunners' opener after the initial corner was cleared. He then whipped in the corner that Darlow misjudged, punching it off his own upright and into his net. 8.
Viktor Gyokeres – Was presented with a golden opportunity by Trossard in the second half, had the chance to fire home but delayed too long, allowing Joe Rodon to slide in and block the effort. Fortunately, he redeemed himself, connecting with Martinelli's delivery using an outstretched leg. 8.
Leandro Trossard – Superb pass in the second half to locate his Swedish colleague, merited an assist. That proved his sole meaningful contribution but did trouble the Leeds backline. 7.
Martin Odegaard – Came on for Kai Havertz to resume his central role. Lovely ball down the right flank to Martinelli through the gap before the third strike. Composed display under pressure enhanced by his pass to Jesus for the fourth goal. 8.
Gabriel Martinelli – Entered for Noni Madueke and operated in his less favoured right-wing position. Carelessly conceded a Leeds corner early on, though escaped punishment. He fortunately compensated with an excellent left-footed delivery which located Gyokeres' stretched limb. Impressive impact from the bench in an unfamiliar role. 7.
Gabriel Jesus – Replaced Gyokeres and was handed a golden opportunity to score by Rice, who served it up perfectly for the Brazilian, who then fired wide. Then a headed opportunity, unmarked too, straight at the goalkeeper. Nevertheless, he eventually found the scoresheet with the most difficult chance of all, brilliant touch, pivot and curling finish. 7.
Riccardo Calafiori – Encouraging to see him return to action in the left-back position and he has put himself in a strong position to start in midweek against Chelsea. 6.
Eberechi Eze – Introduced for the final 10 minutes with minimal impact on proceedings. N/A.
