HPSC HCS Recruitment 2026: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the notification for the Haryana Civil Service (HCS) 2026.  Through this recruitment, several posts such as SDM, DSP, Excise and Taxation Officer, Assistant Registrar, etc., will be filled in the state.

Candidates who wish to join the Civil Services in Haryana can apply for this recruitment. The application process will begin soon on the commission's official website hpsc.gov.in.

Examination Schedule
The tentative examination schedule for the Haryana Civil Service posts was released on January 19, 2026. The examination includes a preliminary examination, a main written examination, and a personality/interview test. The preliminary examination will be held on April 26, 2026, while the main written examination will be conducted between June 27 and June 29, 2026.

Following this, the candidates' personality or interview test will be held in August or September 2026. If there are any changes in the examination dates, the information will be provided on the commission's official website.

Who can apply?
To apply, candidates must have a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from a recognized university. In addition, the commission has also prescribed physical standards for the DSP post.

For the DSP post, male candidates must have a height of 170.18 cm, and female candidates must have a height of 157.50 cm. Additionally, male candidates must have an unexpanded chest measurement of 83.82 cm and an expanded chest measurement of 87.63 cm. These rules are part of the physical fitness and selection process.
