Government-owned oil companies have increased the prices of 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinders by up to ₹50. This increase has been effective since this morning. Commercial cylinders are used in hotels, restaurants, and roadside eateries (dhabas), etc.
After the price hike, the price of a 19-kilogram LPG cylinder in Delhi is now ₹1740.50. Similarly, in Kolkata, the price has increased to ₹1844.50. In Mumbai, it will now be available for ₹1692.00, compared to the previous price of ₹1642.50. In Chennai, the price has become ₹1899.50.

Domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged
While commercial cylinders have become more expensive, the good news for ordinary housewives is that the prices of 14.2-kilogram domestic cooking gas cylinders have not been changed. The prices of domestic cylinders are still stable at the rates fixed on April 8, 2025.
The price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi is currently ₹853. In Kolkata, it is ₹879, in Mumbai, ₹852.50, in Chennai, ₹868.50, in Lucknow, ₹890.50, in Ahmedabad ₹860, in Hyderabad ₹905, in Varanasi ₹916.50, and in Patna, a 14-kilogram cylinder is available for ₹951.
