In the latest documents relating to the disgraced financier made public by the US Department of Justice, Sarah Ferguson told convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, to "just marry me" six months after he was released from prison. The email, provided without context, was sent in January 2010.
The disgraced sex offender had been released from Palm Beach County Jail in July 2009, having served 13 months of an 18 month sentence for soliciting sex from girls as young as 14.
Fergie wrote: "You are a legend. I really don't have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me."
It is reported, other messages released include Fergie offering him and his friends VIP tours of Buckingham Palace. While Epstein was still serving his sentence, she said "I can organise anything" after he asked about arranging a "VIP tour" or "access to something special" in London for the daughter of his lawyer, Alan Dershowitz. It is not known whether the above took place.
The newly released documents sheds light on the depth of the former Duchess of York's continued contact with Epstein after his 2008 conviction.
