After the crushing defeat of Jan Suraj in the Bihar Assembly elections, Prashant Kishore has made a big announcement. Now the leaders of Jan Suraj will reach every house of those women in Bihar who got installment of Rs 10,000 during the elections. Jan Suraj has named it Bihar Navnirman Sankalp Abhiyan. After January 15, Jansuraj leaders will reach people’s homes. Prashant Kishore has also announced to leave his house in Delhi and donate all his property.
Prashant Kishore said that the first installment of Rs 10,000 was given to those who were lured. Now it is the responsibility of Jan Suraj to reach those people. It will be ensured that none of them gets entangled in the government system. Bihar Navnirman Sankalp campaign will be started. After January 15, we will go to every house. Will make everyone fill the form so that they can get the full Rs 2 lakh.

Prashant Kishore further said that whatever I earn in the next five years, I will donate at least 90 percent to this initiative of Jan Suraj. I am donating all my wealth, whatever I have earned in the last 20 years, except a house for my family in Delhi, to this initiative. This initiative will not be stopped due to lack of money. I also appeal to the people of Bihar to donate at least Rs 1,000 to Jan Suraj.
How was Jan Suraj’s performance in the elections?
In the Bihar Assembly elections, Prashant Kishore’s party had fielded its candidates on 238 seats. Of these, 236 candidates had to lose even their security deposit. Jan Suraj’s only candidate, Naveen Kumar Singh from Marhaura Assembly stood second. The special thing is that NOTA got more votes than Jan Suraj in 68 assembly constituencies. Prashant Kishor’s party got less than 10 thousand votes on 201 assembly seats. The number of votes on 37 seats was more than 10 thousand. The party had to be content with third position on 131 seats, fourth position on 72, fifth position on 23 and sixth position on eight seats. Jan Suraj got only 3.44 percent votes in entire Bihar.
