New Delhi: If you dream of serving your country by joining the Indian Air Force, today marks your final chance. The registration deadline for the Agnipath scheme is today (February 1). Candidates are encouraged to visit the official website to apply.
This recruitment initiative offers unmarried Indian men and women the opportunity to serve the nation and build a career in the Air Force for a specified duration.
Exam Dates and Application Fee
Selected candidates through this recruitment process will have the chance to serve in the Air Force for four years. The online written examination is scheduled for March 30 and 31, 2026.
The application fee is set at ₹550, which includes an 18% GST that is non-refundable.
Eligibility Criteria
Unmarried males and females born between January 1, 2006, and July 1, 2009, who are not older than 21 years at the time of enrollment, are eligible for this recruitment. Educational qualifications include passing the 12th grade with subjects in science (Physics, Mathematics, and English), any stream in 12th grade, or a diploma or vocational qualification. Candidates are advised to apply before the deadline.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages:
1. The first stage will consist of an online written examination.
2. The second stage will include a physical fitness test, adaptability test, and document verification.
3. The third stage will involve a medical examination of the candidates. Admit cards for the online exam will be issued 48 to 72 hours prior to the test.
Four-Year Commitment
Selected candidates will serve as Agniveers for a duration of four years. During this period, they will receive an initial monthly salary of ₹30,000, which will increase annually. Upon completion of service, eligible candidates will receive a service fund of approximately ₹10.04 lakh.
