Vaibhav Suryavanshi did not play against Pakistan, still left Shubman Gill behind

India and Pakistan are face to face in the last Super-6 match of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026. Pakistan invited India to bat first in this high-voltage match. Explosive opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a good start but he could not convert it into a big innings. Vaibhav was out after scoring 30 runs in 20 balls. Vaibhav hit 5 fours and 1 six in his innings.

Vaibhav has made a big record during his short innings. He has become the fourth highest run scorer for India in Youth ODI. Vaibhav has scored 1169 runs in 23 Youth ODI matches. He left Shubman Gill and Unmukt Chand behind as soon as he scored his 11th run against Pakistan. Shubman and Unmukt had equal 1149 runs in their names.

From here Vedant Trivedi and Vihaan Malhotra (21) made a partnership of 62 runs and got India out of trouble. Vedant Trivedi played a patient inning of 68 runs in 98 balls. In the end, RS Ambrish (29 runs in 38 balls), Kanishk Chauhan (35 runs in 29 balls) and Khilan Patel (21 in 15 balls) scored runs quickly and took Team India to a strong score (252). To reach the semi-finals, Pakistan will have to achieve this target within 33.3 overs. If the Pakistani team is not able to do this then its journey will end here.
