‘38.9% constable posts are vacant,’ Hooda cornered Haryana government on law and order

Former Chief Minister of Haryana and Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda strongly targeted the state government by citing the India Justice Report. He accused the government of being negligent in matters of law and order. Apart from this, alleged discrimination in the appointments of the police department was mentioned. Hooda claimed that more than 80 gangs are active in Haryana. They are involved in crimes like murder, robbery, dacoity and firing. But the BJP government is adopting a careless attitude in matters of law and order.

 

Bhupendra Hooda said that the BJP government has completely ruined the law and order of Haryana. India Justice Report has once again shown the mirror to the BJP government. According to the report, in the last 5 years the ranking of Haryana Police has slipped from 8th place to 14th place. Haryana Police is at number 14 among 18 big states of the country. Even Bihar is four places above Haryana. Neighboring state Punjab is at 7th position.

Government discriminating against SC-OBC

Hooda further said that the Justice India report shows how the BJP government is discriminating against SCs and OBCs. Haryana ranks 17th among 18 states in terms of SC officers in police. He alleged that the government was appointing SC officers sparingly. Haryana is also lagging behind in the matter of SC constables. The state ranks 17th in terms of OBC constables.

38.9 percent posts of constable are vacant

Bhupendra Singh Hooda alleged that about 38.9 percent posts of constable level in Haryana Police are vacant. 17.8 percent posts of women police officers are vacant. Employees are struggling with workload. While Punjab spends Rs 2604 on each policeman, in Haryana it spends only Rs 1908. close to kerala23992 There is one police station at Abadi.
