LPG Cylinder Price Hike: The country’s budget is going to be presented today i.e. 1st February, but even before that there has been a shock of inflation. Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of LPG gas cylinders, after which the gas cylinder has now become costlier by Rs 50. This increase has been made on 19 kg commercial gas cylinder.

Commercial cylinder prices will remain like this

According to the new rates of the companies, from February 1, a 19 kg commercial cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 1740.50. Its price in Mumbai has increased to Rs 1692. This cylinder is now available in Kolkata for Rs 1844.50, while in Chennai consumers will have to pay Rs 1899.50 for it.

Government companies in the petroleum sector review the prices of LPG and other fuels on the first of every month. In January also, the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders were increased, whereas a slight reduction was seen in November and December last year.

Reduction in ATF prices

Meanwhile, the prices of aviation fuel i.e. ATF have been reduced from February 1. The price of ATF in the capital Delhi has decreased to $ 778.85 per kiloliter. If seen in rupee terms, now Rs 91,393.39 will have to be paid for 1,000 liters of ATF. Relief in ATF prices has also been given in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.

No change in domestic LPG cylinder prices

If we look at the trend of previous years, generally there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders on the budget day, but fluctuations have been seen in the prices of commercial cylinders. While there was a big cut on the budget day in 2022, commercial cylinder consumers had to face an increase in 2024. This time too, additional burden has been put on businessmen by increasing prices before the budget.
