Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection: Rani Mukherjee has made a tremendous comeback with her film ‘Mardaani 3’, where she has played the character of adventurous and outspoken police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film received good response from the audience even before its release. Rani’s strong acting and depth of the story are both being praised a lot. Even though it is a serious genre film and the number of shows was limited, ‘Mardaani 3’ has taken a strong start across the country and has earned equal to the first day collection of 2019’s ‘Mardaani 2’. So let’s know its first day collection.

According to Sacknik’s report, ‘Mardaani 3’ has earned ₹3.80 crore in India on its first day. The film is running with around 2,299 shows in various parts of the country, with an average occupancy of 13.6%. The special thing is that ‘Mardaani 3’ has earned equal to the first day collection of Rani Mukherjee’s previous franchise film ‘Mardaani 2’, which was ₹ 3.80 crore in 2019 also. That is, this time Rani could not cross her own old record.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, the film recorded a total occupancy of 18.01% in the Hindi market. The special thing was that the number of spectators kept increasing throughout the day. The occupancy in the morning show was just 8.97%, which increased to 14.78% in the afternoon. It reached 17.13% in the evening and the highest in the night show, 31.14% of the audience watched the film.

In simple terms, Mardaani 3 earned ₹3.8 crore on the first day, which is more than Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders (₹1.15 crore) and Yami Gautam’s Haq (₹1.75 crore), but less than Yami’s Article 370 (₹5.9 crore) and Alia Bhatt’s Jigra (₹4.25 crore). The good thing is that at present there is no big film in competition, so Mardaani 3 has a good chance to increase the earnings.

The film begins with a high-profile kidnapping case, in which an ambassador’s daughter and her caretaker’s daughter are kidnapped. The responsibility of investigating this case is again handed over to Senior Police Officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. As the investigation progresses, the case leads to a huge trafficking racket run by Amma i.e. Mallika Prasad—an extremely dangerous and ruthless woman. This racket is linked to the beggar-mafia and exploits children in an inhuman manner. As Shivani gets closer to the truth, it comes to light that this is not just a case of kidnapping, but a complex and organized crime network with layers of it. The story reaches its climax before the interval of the film, but the real turning point comes when it is revealed that Amma is not the only villain. In the second part, a big and hidden mind comes to light, who is the real mastermind of this entire network.
