After this, a video of Kalpana Iyer dancing to the same song at a wedding event surfaced, which created a stir on social media.
What did Kalpana Iyer say when it went viral?
After going viral, Kalpana Iyer said in a conversation with India Today that she did not expect this viral trend at all. She said, “I had gone to my friend’s son’s wedding. The dance happened completely suddenly. I just shared the video on social media and within a few hours it went viral everywhere. I am surprised, but also deeply grateful for getting so much love.”
Kalpana ready to return to films
Kalpana Iyer believes that this new popularity will bring new opportunities for her. She said that she still wants to work and will definitely return when she gets the right role. She said, “I never said that I don’t want to work. I have only asked for roles as per my age. At this age, roles with short clothes don’t look good. I don’t want big roles, but if there is a 1-minute role as per my age, I will happily do that too.”
