New Delhi. Neelam Kothari, the beautiful and superhit actress of the 80s and 90s, is once again in the headlines. Recently, Neelam, who appeared in the special episode Season of Love of singing reality show Indian Idol, shared an interesting anecdote to the love story of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Neelam revealed that Shah Rukh Khan himself had told her that Neelam was also one of the reasons for his and Gauri’s marriage.
According to Neelam, both Shah Rukh and Gauri were her big fans and used to sit together and watch her films. During this time, the closeness between the two increased and it was from here that their love story gained momentum. Neelam said that she had no idea that her films were playing such a big role in someone’s life.

Talking about professional life, Neelam Kothari gave many hit films with Govinda and Chunky Pandey in the 90s. The audience liked their pairing in films like ‘Love 86’, ‘Ilzaam’, ‘Aag Hi Aag’ and ‘Ek Ladka Ek Ladki’. In recent years, Neelam was seen in the OTT web series Bollywood Wives and now she will also be seen in the quiz show Wheel of Fortune hosted by Akshay Kumar along with Bhavana Pandey and Maheep Kapoor.
