The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the Intermediate board examinations from February 2nd to February 13th, 2026. Before the exams begin, the board has released the exam guidelines via a tweet. The board has also stated that adherence to the prescribed rules is mandatory. Anyone violating these rules will face legal action.
What are the rules?
Important rules issued for candidates appearing for the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026:
The entry time at the examination center is one hour before the start of the examination.
The main gate of the examination center will be closed half an hour before the start of the examination and will not be opened under any circumstances after 9:00 AM.
The first shift examination will start at 9:30 AM. Therefore, the gates of the center will be opened for students of this shift from 8:30 AM and will remain open until 9:00 AM. No entry will be allowed after 9:00 AM.
The second shift examination will start at 2:30 PM. Students of this shift will be allowed entry from 1:30 PM. The gates will be closed at 2:00 PM. After this, no student will be allowed entry.
Legal action will be taken for violations.
According to the notification issued by the Bihar School Education Board, if any student forcibly and illegally enters the examination premises, they will be expelled from the examination for two years, and a First Information Report (FIR) will be filed against them. Action will also be taken against the center superintendent who allows an illegally entering candidate to sit for the examination, including suspension and legal proceedings.
Board Exam Dates
According to the date sheet, the Intermediate (12th) class board examinations will be conducted from February 2nd to February 13th, while the High School (10th) class board examinations will be conducted from February 17th to February 25th, 2026.
