Stock Market: Will Sensex, Nifty rebound today?

Mumbai: The Indian stock market crashed on Sunday’s trading session. The market witnessed a sharp sell-off after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced an increase in the Securities Transaction Tax (STT) on futures and options in Budget 2026. The Sensex dropped 1,546.84 points to settle at 80,722.94. The Nifty 50 plunged 495.20 points to finish at 24,825.45.
