Due to the conflict between Iran and America, the clouds of war are again gathering in the sky of the Middle East. In this situation, Tehran is starting military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the busiest waterways in world trade.

Iran recently announced plans to launch a five-day military exercise in the Strait of Hormuz soon. After that, America turned Tehran. The Central Command of the US Army said in a strong message that if there is any damage to the US forces, US allies in the region and commercial ships, Washington will not give up. Any careless behavior will lead to great danger.

The narrow waterway between Iran and Oman is known as the Strait of Hormuz. This path is very important. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq export oil through this route. Significantly, most of the oil exported goes to Asia. According to experts, if there is any instability in the Strait of Hormuz, it will directly affect several countries including India. Although India does not directly import much oil from Iran, India imports more than 85 percent of its oil requirements. About 50 percent of these imports come through the Strait of Hormuz (trade route). About 20 percent of global fuel oil trade takes place through this route. Therefore, it is feared that if there is any kind of disturbance in that route, then India’s trade will face a big obstacle.
