What is ‘Two-Tier’ security blanket?

A two-tier security ring has been prepared for the safety of Rohit Shetty, which will also be applicable on the sets of the film. This will include armed personnel of Mumbai Police who will monitor the exterior of the set and the entry-exit gates. Rohit’s personal bodyguards and special security team will remain close to him. A team of around 60 security personnel will be deployed on the set.

Strict rules for entry on set

After the firing incident, the rules have changed for everyone visiting the sets of ‘Golmaal 5’. Pre-registration mandatory: ID verification and pre-registration will be mandatory for junior artists, vendors and crew members. ‘Spot entry’ has been completely stopped. There will be certain areas inside the set where only selected people will be allowed to go, where Rohit Shetty will work.

Privacy of vehicles and location

Checking: Every vanity van, equipment truck and private vehicle will be thoroughly searched at the entry point. Information about the location and time of shooting will be given on ‘Need-to-Know’ basis. That means even the crew will not know the exact location until the last moment.

When will the shooting of ‘Golmaal 5’ start?

According to reports, the shooting of Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Golmaal 5’ was to start in Mumbai after 15 February 2026. However, considering the police clearance and Rohit’s mental condition, it may be delayed by a few days, but the project has not been canceled due to security reasons.
