Learning Without Carrying Regret

Speaking candidly about her outlook, Mona shared that when something goes wrong, she prefers to pause, reflect, and absorb the learning rather than holding on to guilt. In her view, regret often turns into emotional baggage, making it harder to advance in life. Letting go, she said, is essential for personal freedom and growth.

She explained that this mindset has helped her remain balanced both personally and professionally. Accepting that mistakes are part of the journey, rather than signs of failure, has allowed her to approach life with patience and self-awareness.

Life’s Lessons Through People

Mona also spoke about how life constantly teaches through relationships. She believes that people enter one’s life for specific reasons, each leaving behind a lesson, whether they stay for years or are present only briefly.

According to her, some bonds endure and become anchors, while others naturally fade. Yet every interaction has meaning. She described this process as deeply human, adding that acknowledging these lessons is key to avoiding bitterness and continuing to evolve.

A New Role in Kohrra’s Second Chapter

The actor is preparing to appear in the second season of the Netflix crime drama Kohrra, which returns with a fresh investigation and an expanded cast. The new season reunites viewers with Barun Sobti, who reprises his role as the perceptive investigator Amarpal Garundi.

Mona joins the series in a new character who partners with Garundi as they unravel a grim murder case involving a woman. The narrative promises layered storytelling, emotional depth, and a darker mystery set against the stark backdrop of Punjab’s winter landscape.

Cast, Creators, and Release Details

Season two also features Rannvijay Singha in a significant role. The series is created and written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma, whose earlier work established the show’s moody tone and grounded storytelling.

Produced by Film Squad Production in association with Act Three, the new season reflects a creative evolution for the franchise. Producers Saurabh Malhotra, Sudip Sharma, Manuj Mittra, and Tina Tharwani aim to deepen the emotional and investigative layers that defined the first season.

The second installment of Kohrra is scheduled to stream on Netflix beginning February 11, bringing audiences back into a world where silence often speaks louder than confessions.

A Career Built on Versatility

Beyond her current project, Mona Singh has built a diverse career across television and film. She rose to widespread recognition as the lead in the popular series Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and later earned praise for roles in shows such as Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, and Kavach… Kaali Shaktiyon Se.

Her transition to films included a supporting role in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2009 hit 3 Idiots, which further showcased her adaptability as an actor. Over the years, she has consistently chosen roles that challenge her and allow her to grow with each performance.

As she steps into Kohrra’s new season, Mona’s philosophy mirrors her career choices: learn, evolve, and move ahead without being weighed down by the past.
