The latest release of the Epstein files from the Department of Justice reveals that in his will, he intended to bequeath his girlfriend $50 million, a 33-carat diamond ring, Little Saint James island, and his New York townhouse.
The paedophile executed the will two days before his death. He intended to distribute a $288 million fortune and international properties amongst more than 44 beneficiaries.
Epstein identified his girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, as originating from Belarus and may have maintained a relationship with the disgraced financier for nearly 10 years. She was also allocated properties in Paris and Florida, according to the will.
This emerges as an email in the files claimed Bill Gates 'caught an STD from Russian girls'.
Epstein allegedly funded Shuliak's mother's costly medical treatment and may have contributed towards the luxurious residence where her parents reside in Minsk, Belarus.
The 33-carat diamond ring Epstein bequeathed to Shuliak was "in contemplation of marriage" and was 'flanked by baguette-cut diamonds mounted in platinum'.
Epstein perished whilst awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The will was executed by his solicitor, Darren Indyke, eight days following his death.
Indyke was to receive $50 million under the will whilst his accountant, Richard Kahm, was designated to receive $25 million. His estate was ultimately transferred to a trust which has been utilised to compensate victims, settle taxes and cover legal fees, according to the Daily Mail.
The accounts reveal that $127 million remains from the total sum.
Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's long-term accomplice, is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking and would be entitled to $10 million, alongside Epstein's brother Mark and his pilot Larry Visoski.
His girlfriend, Suliak, was the final person to converse with Epstein by telephone before he took his own life on 10 August 2019. She also visited him 11 days prior to his death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
The DOJ published three million documents from the Epstein files on Friday which disclosed further details about Epstein's will.
