There is big news for candidates who have applied to participate in the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has opened a correction window for candidates who made any mistakes while filling out the form. The window for making corrections to the form will remain open until 6 AM on February 3, 2026.
Modifications to the application form can be made online through the official website uppbpb.gov.in. Please note that only one opportunity for correction will be given.

Steps to correct the form
To correct the form, candidates should first visit the board's website uppbpb.gov.in.
Go to the correction link apply.upprpb.in and log in to your account using your registered account credentials, Aadhaar ID, or DigiLocker.
You can modify your details by going to the Modify Details tab/section in the Application History.
Candidates will not be able to modify the details fetched from OTR (One Time Registration) and the uploaded photo in the application form.
Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, the UP Police Board will fill a total of 32,679 posts. According to the positions, 10,469 posts are reserved for Constable Civil Police (Male/Female), 15,131 posts for PAC (Armed Police, Male only), 2,282 posts for Women PAC (Women's Battalion – Lucknow, Budaun, Gorakhpur), 1,341 posts for SSF (Special Security Force, Male only), 71 posts for Mounted Police (Male only), 3,279 posts for Jail Warder (Male), and 106 posts for Jail Warder (Female).
