Adjusted gross margin expanded 700 basis points YoY to 25%, while adjusted gross margin, excluding government incentives, stood at 23%, reflecting sustained reduction in cost of goods sold (COGS) per vehicle.

The company attributed this to supply-chain optimisation, scale benefits and manufacturing efficiencies. As a result, EBITDA margin improved 1,600 bps YoY to (-3%) in Q3 FY26, signalling progress toward breakeven.

It sold 68,000 units during the quarter under review, marking a 50% YoY increase and 3% sequential growth.

With the addition of 76 new centres, Ather’s experience centre count at the end of December 2025 stood at 600 experience centres. It plans to scale this number to 700 by the end of FY26.

On the product and technology front, Ather rolled out multiple OTA-enabled features during the quarter, including Infinite Cruise, Remote Control, vernacular dashboards, and expanded its AtherStack Pro software suite.

The company’s electric two-wheeler (E2W) market share climbed to 18.8% in Q3 FY26, aided by rapid expansion of its distribution footprint and rising traction for its family scooter Rizta. The sales for this E2W crossed the 2 Lakh during the quarter.

Ather continued to hold a strong position in South India, where it commands a 24.4% of the overall E2W market.

In Central India, Ather’s market share almost doubled YoY to 17.4%, with strong gains in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.

The traction however, was even more pronounced in newer markets across North and East India. In the Rest of India, Ather’s market share expanded from 6% in Q3 FY25 to 12.6% in the quarter under review with standout performance in states such as Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, and Rajasthan.
