T20 World Cup: India A beats America by 38 runs in the warm-up match, Jagadeesan’s century

Navi Mumbai. In the warm-up matches of T20 World Cup 2026, India A registered a strong win by defeating USA by 38 runs at the DY Patil Cricket Stadium. Batting first, India A scored a huge score of 238 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, USA team was all out for 200 runs in 19.4 overs.

The hero of India A’s victory was N Jagadeesan, who played a brilliant century of 104 runs in 55 balls. He hit 11 fours and 4 sixes in his innings and completed his century in 49 balls. Captain Ayush Badoni also scored an unbeaten 60 runs in an explosive manner, in which he faced 26 balls. Tilak Verma, returning after injury, added 38 runs, while Priyansh Arya gave the team a fast start by scoring 28 runs in 13 balls.

    Chasing the target of 239 runs, the USA team struggled, but wickets kept falling at regular intervals. In bowling, Ravi Bishnoi turned the match towards India by taking 3 wickets. Khalil Ahmed and Naman Dheer took 2 wickets each, while Badoni, Tilak Verma and Ashok Sharma got 1 wicket each.

    A total of 438 runs were scored in the match and 21 sixes were hit from both the teams, giving the audience a high-scoring match. Now the Indian senior team will play its warm-up match against South Africa on 4 February.
