Mumbai: Mortgage lender Truhome Finance has announced the appointment of former State Bank of India chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara as its chairperson for a five-year term, the company said in an exchange filing.
Khara played a pivotal role in leading the merger of five associate banks and the Bharatiya Mahila Bank with SBI, one of the largest banking consolidations globally.
During his tenure at SBI, he held several key leadership roles, including managing director in charge of global banking and subsidiaries, chief executive officer of SBI Mutual Fund, and headed critical functions such as risk management, information technology, and compliance.
