The Supreme Court on Tuesday warned tech giant and WhatsApp's owner company Meta regarding the privacy policy of the instant messaging platform.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday warned tech giant and WhatsApp owner Meta over the privacy policy of the instant messaging platform. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant reprimanded the American company, saying, "You cannot play with the privacy of our country... We will not let you share even a single part of our data" and said that it could leave India if the country's laws were not followed.
