BTS's comeback concert, documentary to stream on Netflix

K-pop sensation BTS is set to make a grand comeback with a live-streamed performance and a feature-length documentary on Netflix.
The event, titled BTS the Comeback Live | Arirang, will be streamed globally from Gwanghwamun in Seoul on March 21 at 4:00am PT (around 5:30pm IST).
This will be followed by the premiere of the documentary BTS: The Return on March 27.

Director details
The live performance will be directed by Hamish Hamilton, who has directed most of the Super Bowl Halftime shows since 2010.
This will be the first-ever live event from Korea to be globally livestreamed.
BTS's new album, Arirang, is set to release on March 20.
The album marks their first release since 2022's Proof, which was followed by a hiatus during which members completed mandatory military service and pursued solo projects.
'BTS: The Return': More about the documentary
Documentary details
The documentary BTS: The Return, directed by Bao Nguyen, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the group's reunion in Los Angeles as they create new music after their hiatus.
It will show the members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, working on an album that reflects their growth and experiences since debuting in 2013.
Netflix described the film as an "intimate portrait of resilience."
BTS's world tour
Upcoming events
BTS recently announced a 2026-2027 global tour with 82 performances in 34 markets.
The tour will cover Asia, Latin America, North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
It will kick off with three concerts in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, April 11, and April 12.
