'Ramayana': First looks of Ranbir, Yash dropping on Ram Navami?

The much-anticipated film, Ramayana: Part One, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, is gearing up for a grand event on Ram Navami (March 27) in Mumbai.

The event will unveil the official character looks from the film.

According to a report by Mid-Day, invitations are being sent out to notable personalities from different fields for this extravagant occasion at the Gateway of India.

The event will mark the first public appearance of the lead cast's looks from the film.

The star-studded lineup includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, among others.

The report also suggests that several important guests are expected to attend the event.

These include senior leaders from state and central governments and prominent figures from the entertainment and sports industries.

Film release

Directed by Tiwari, Ramayana will be released in two parts. The first part is set to hit theaters on Diwali this year, while the second part will follow on Diwali 2027.

The film is produced by Malhotra's Prime Focus Studio and Yash's Monster Mind Creations. It promises to be an ambitious adaptation of the epic tale.

Sunny Deol and Lara Dutta are also a part of the cast.
