On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract expiring on March 5, 2026, opened at Rs 1,44,700 (per 10 grams) on Tuesday. On its last trading day, gold had closed at Rs 1,41,669 on MCX.

At 10:00 AM on February 3rd, the gold contract expiring on March 5th was trading at Rs 1,46,514 on MCX, showing an increase of approximately Rs 5,000 from the previous day's closing price. MCX gold reached a high of Rs 1,49,518 in early trading.

The silver contract expiring on March 5, 2026, was trading at Rs 2,53,409 (per kg) on MCX, showing an increase of approximately Rs 17,000 from the previous day's closing price.
