The quiet visit of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan to Kolkata has sparked rumors of a possible collaboration with renowned singer Arijit Singh.
According to reports, Khan arrived in the city on Sunday and headed straight to Singh's residence in Jiaganj for a private meeting.
The timing of this interaction has led to speculation about a potential collaboration between the two, reported ETimes.

Notably, Singh recently announced that he would be stepping away from playback singing after fulfilling his commitments this year.

A source close to Singh revealed, "Aamir usually prefers to be present during playback recordings for his films."
"Arijit typically records in the evening, as that's when he feels his voice is at its best."

Khan is currently working on multiple projects, including the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic, which he will lead, and Ek Din and Lahore 1947, which he has produced.
The source further revealed that Khan met Singh briefly on Sunday before their meeting took place on Monday.
"Chatter is that Arijit is singing for Aamir's next project, and that is the reason for the visit," they added.
