Valentine’s Day is on the horizon, which means it’s time to start planning your date night look. It doesn't matter whether you’re heading out for a romantic evening with your partner or celebrating Galentine’s Day with your friends, it’s the perfect excuse to get dressed up and celebrate the love in your life.

If you’re planning an elegant evening out – or even just have a special event coming up – the Bodycon Maxi Dress With Bow from Michelle Keegan’s Very range is a must-buy. The floor length dress is timeless, classic and chic, and according to shoppers, is incredibly flattering on all bodies.

The Bodycon Maxi Dress With Bow had originally sold out in multiple sizes, but has just been given a full restock and is now available in all sizes from a six to 20. It’s priced at £80, but if you use the code TWENTY you can save 20% on it, bringing the price down to £64.

It has a beautiful floor-length cut with long sleeves and a fitted, bodycon style silhouette. The Bodycon Maxi Dress With Bow also has draping and ruching around the waist and stomach area which helps create a flattering fit and enhances curves.

However, as the dress is made from a thick stretch fabric, it hugs every curve whilst sculpting and smoothing your figure for an ultra-flattering fit. Its timeless silhouette has a rounded neckline, with a draped detail at the back and a statement bow in contrasting white satin for an added bit of drama.

You can pick up similar figure-sculpting maxi dresses elsewhere too, with the Good American Sculpting Maxi Dress now £64.24 down from £129 at ASOS, whilst PrettyLittleThing has slashed the Shape Black Built In Shapewear Sculpt Strappy Maxi Dress down to £22.50 from £30. Meanwhile Oh Polly’s Scoop Neck Maxi Dress is just £27.50 down from £50.

However, the Bodycon Maxi Dress With Bow from Michelle’s Very range has gotten such glowing reviews from shoppers, it seems like a clear winner. One said: “I bought this dress for an “old money” themed NYE party and wow. It didn’t disappoint. I got endless compliments. The dress was thick and heavy but not suffocating, hugged in all the right areas. I felt like a million dollars!! If you’re on the fence about buying it. It’s worth the price tag. You won’t regret it!”

Another agreed: “Really thick & good quality dress, I bought for my sisters wedding, I’m 5 ft 3 was worried [it would] be too long but wasn’t with heels, had holes for thumbs on the sleeve too! Really feel comfortable in it love the part over the tummy! Highly recommend, happy with my purchase.”

In fact the only review that wasn’t five stars was this four star one, which said: “This dress was absolutely gorgeous, however it did take me a good few attempts to put the dress on. I felt so elegant in it, I bought it for a black tie event I was attending but unfortunately the middle material around the dress was far too tight on me, the top of the dress was too loose so I wasnt able to go up a size. And when I sat down in the dress the middle material rolled up and it was very hard to undo without a mirror. In the plus side I didn’t need Spanx because of it though. It was very flattering and incredibly gorgeous, just not right for me.”
