The court has given this order in the check bounce case. The court has also strongly reprimanded the actor for repeatedly breaking the promises made regarding payment of the settlement amount. On this matter, Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma said that the behavior done by the actor is condemnable. Despite several reliefs granted by the court, Yadav could not fulfill the promise of payment made to the complainant company, M/s Murali Projects Pvt. Ltd.

Rajpal Yadav trapped in check bounce case

According to the court, Rajpal Yadav’s behavior in this case is condemnable. Despite getting repeated concessions from the court, the actor did not follow the instructions given on time. The court said on this matter that ‘this matter came up in the bench of petitions filed by Yadav and his wife. In which he had challenged his punishment under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. In this case he was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.

The sentence was pronounced in 2024

Let us tell you that, on June 28, 2024, a coordinate bench had suspended this sentence. Because Rajpal Yadav was not a confirmed criminal in this case. In fact, this happened when he expressed his desire to explore the possibility of a mutual settlement with the complaining company. After this, the court told that from June 2024, Yadav repeatedly asked for time to make the payment by giving this assurance. But he proved unsuccessful every time.

Rs 2.5 crore case

The actor assured the actor that Rs 2.5 crore would be given in installments, which include Rs 40 lakh and Rs 2.10 crore. But even after getting time from the court, the actor could not return the money. Justice Sharma said that Yadav neither took any steps to deposit the DD with the Registrar General nor was he able to correct the alleged mistake in the draft.
