Frost & Sullivan recognises leading manufacturers and sustainability leaders at the 2025 IMEA and Sustainability 4.0 Awards

Inside one of India’s earliest assessment-driven awards programmes honouring excellence across manufacturing, digital transformation, and sustainability.

Frost & Sullivan successfully hosted the 2025 edition of the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) and the Sustainability 4.0 Awards, bringing together industry leaders for an evening focused on recognition and benchmarking.

The event took place at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai, underlining Frost & Sullivan’s continued commitment to fostering manufacturing excellence and sustainability in India.

The 2025 edition reaffirmed the importance of aligning business excellence with long-term, sustainable strategies, especially as India’s manufacturing landscape rapidly evolves with digital transformation, supply chain complexity, and environmental considerations.

MOU-Exchange

  • There was a landmark, MoU Exchange Ceremony between Frost & Sullivan and the Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI), marking a strategic alliance aligned to the 2026 vision and focused on national impact and long-term value creation.
  • Usha Guru – Managing Director, Cavin Infotech shared insights into Cavin Infotech’s innovative solutions and how they are supporting the transformational journey.

Following the Gold Awards, Frost & Sullivan also presented emotii.ai with the AI Communication Intelligence Transformational Innovation Leadership Award.

The next segment recognised individual achievements in sustainability and manufacturing transformation. In this segment, introduced for the first time, the recipient of the CEO of the Year award was. Gurpratap S. Boparai, CEO – Manufacturing Business, Suzlon Energy Limited, Pune.

The awards continued with the Smart Factory Awards, and it was presented to Utkal Alumina International Limited, Rayagada.

The award recipients of the Sustainability Leaders Awards were:
  • TVS Motor Company Limited (Hosur) - Mega Large Business, Automotive Sector
  • JSW Steel Limited (Salem Works) - Mega Large Business, Metals Sector
The Future Ready Factory Awards were then conferred upon eight companies, recognising their commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

This marked the presentation of the evening’s top awards– Sustainability & IMEA Apex Awards of the year.

Sustainability Apex Awards:
  • Hindalco Industries Limited, Belagavi Works - First Runner up - Sustainable Factory of the Year and Consistency Silver Award
  • Royal Enfield (A Unit of Eicher Motors Ltd, Oragadam.) - Sustainable Factory of the Year
IMEA Apex Awards:
  • Bharat Aluminium Company Limited, Korba– First Runner-up - Indian Manufacturer of the Year and Consistency Aspirer Award
  • Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda - Indian Manufacturer of the Year and Consistency Challenger Award
And finally, one of the most anticipated categories of the year, Indian Corporate of the Year, was presented to Hindalco Industries Limited.
