Frost & Sullivan successfully hosted the 2025 edition of the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) and the Sustainability 4.0 Awards, bringing together industry leaders for an evening focused on recognition and benchmarking.
The event took place at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai, underlining Frost & Sullivan’s continued commitment to fostering manufacturing excellence and sustainability in India.
The 2025 edition reaffirmed the importance of aligning business excellence with long-term, sustainable strategies, especially as India’s manufacturing landscape rapidly evolves with digital transformation, supply chain complexity, and environmental considerations.
Setting the stage for the evening, Aroop Zutshi, Global Managing Partner & Executive Board Member, Frost & Sullivan, said: “The future of Indian industry will be shaped by organisations that combine operational excellence with transformational growth. IMEA and Sustainability 4.0 together provide a structured roadmap for enterprises to lead this transformation. Following the Gold Awards, Frost & Sullivan also presented emotii.ai with the AI Communication Intelligence Transformational Innovation Leadership Award.
The next segment recognised individual achievements in sustainability and manufacturing transformation. In this segment, introduced for the first time, the recipient of the CEO of the Year award was. Gurpratap S. Boparai, CEO – Manufacturing Business, Suzlon Energy Limited, Pune.
The awards continued with the Smart Factory Awards, and it was presented to Utkal Alumina International Limited, Rayagada.
