How to Create WhatsApp Avatar?
- Tap the three dots (⋮) menu
- Go to Settings → Avatar
- Tap on Create your avatar
- Select Get Started → Create from Selfie
- Allow camera access
- Place the face in the center of the frame and take the photo
- Customize the avatar to your liking
- Tap on Save & Continue
Remember important things
- An avatar can be deleted at any time, but it is permanently deleted
- Once deleted, an avatar cannot be recovered
- Your photo is not used for any other purpose
- There is no option to select gender for avatar
- Avatars are not supported on linked devices
