Haryana News: Income Tax Department has started a major action in Faridabad district of Haryana on Wednesday morning. Raids are being conducted simultaneously at 6 to 8 locations in different areas of the city. Many schools, offices of companies and residences of business owners are said to be involved in this action.

Raid started at 6 in the morning, police force also accompanied

According to the information, several teams of the Income Tax Department along with the police force reached Faridabad at around 6 am on Wednesday morning. After this the teams were deployed together in different parts of the city. Officials say that for the first time a raid is being conducted simultaneously on such a large scale in Faridabad.

Raids in many sectors of the city

Income Tax teams are taking action in many major areas of Faridabad. The places where raids are reported include the office of Hindustan Security in Sector-11, a residence in Sector-21, locations in Sector-17 and Sector-28, several schools in the area across the canal, and a businessman’s house in Sector-9.

According to sources, the Income Tax Department team is also raiding the residence of Deepak Gupta, owner of Rani Road, located in house number 504-505 of Sector-9.

Simultaneous action on 6 to 8 targets

Sources associated with the department said that at present investigation is going on at 6 to 8 locations. A thorough investigation of documents, accounts and digital records is being done at all places.

Investigation regarding big financial transactions

It is being told that this action is being taken on suspicion of big financial transaction. Income Tax Department teams are scrutinizing the financial records of schools and companies and documents to transactions are being examined.

Awaiting official confirmation

At present no official statement has been issued by the Income Tax Department. The situation regarding action and recovery will be clear only after the raid is completed.
