India U19 vs Afghanistan U19: The second semi-final match of the Under-19 World Cup 2026 was played on 4 February between India and Afghanistan in Bulawayo. In this match, the Indian team performed brilliantly and defeated Afghanistan and got the ticket for the final. Aaron George, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and captain Ayush Mhatre batted brilliantly for India. India thoroughly defeated Afghanistan’s bowlers. Now the final match of the World Cup between India and England will be played on 6 February. India won the title match by defeating Afghanistan by 7 wickets.

The Indian team chased the biggest run of the Under-19 ODI World Cup semi-finals. Earlier, the target of 300+ was not chased in the semi-finals. India will now face England in the final on 6th February.

Afghanistan had made a huge score

Batting first, Afghanistan scored 310 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs. Openers Usman Sadat and Khalid Ahmedzai did not play big innings for the team. Usman scored 39 runs, while Khalid scored 31 runs. However, after this Faisal Shinozada played an inning of 110 runs in 93 balls, while Uzairullah Niazai scored 101 not out in 86 balls. Both of them batted brilliantly and took great notice of the Indian bowlers. For India, Deepesh Devendran took 2 wickets and Kanishk Chauhan took 2 wickets in this match. Deepesh scored 64 runs in 10 overs, while Kanishk spent 55 runs in 9 overs.

India achieved the target

India got a strong start while chasing the target. Vaibhav Suryavanshi excelled in the role of opening batsman. He played an innings of 68 runs in 33 balls. He also hit 9 fours and 4 sixes. After Vaibhav was out, Aaron George played a century and played an important role in the team’s victory. He scored 115 runs in 104 balls. Apart from this, captain Ayush Mhatre also batted brilliantly at number three and scored 62 runs in 59 balls. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in his name. India won the match by scoring 311/3 runs in 41.1 overs.
