Bhavana Menon starrer ‘ Anomie ’ is gearing up for release on February 6, and ahead of it, the makers have dropped the trailer. The film seems to revolve around the disappearance of a young man and his sister’s relentless search for him. Actors Bhavana Menon and Shebin Benson play the sister-brother duo in the film. The trailer opens with Zara Philip (Bhavana) searching for her brother, and on the other side we see a cop (Rahman) leading the investigation. “The court and police may have limitations. But the missing person is my brother. So, I don't give a sh*t about anything or anybody,” the sister says, adding that she will go to any extent to find her brother.
Bhavana Menon dropped the trailer via her social media handle and said, “Turn up the volume. Enter Anomie – The Equation of Death. Trailer out now In cinemas 06 February 2026.”

‘Anomie’ is written and directed by Riyas Marath, who has earlier co-written ‘Neeli and Diwanji Moola Grand Prix’. The film has Bhavana Menon in the lead role. Actors Shebin Benson, Vishnu Agasthya, Binu Pappu, Arjun Lal, and Drishya Regunath are also part of the cast.
Talking to Manorama Online earlier, Bhavana spoke about playing Zara Philip. “Zara is composed and bold on the outside, yet deeply emotional inside. I can relate to that. I’ve played many bold, talkative characters, but Zara offered a fresh challenge. The filmmakers were initially unsure whether I would be willing to take on this character because of my existing image, but I wanted to try something new. It’s boring to repeat the same kind of role. I’d even love to explore negative roles in the future,” she said.
On the technical side, the film’s cinematography is done by Sujith Sarang, and Kiran Das is the editor. Harshavardhan Rameshwar, known for his work in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Animal’, is also part of the crew. The art department is handled by Arjun Jox.
