Al-Falah University Chairman Jawad Siddiqui arrested, from money laundering to terror links, big revelations in investigation

Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui Arrested: Al-Falah University located in Faridabad, Haryana is once again on the target of investigating agencies. Taking major action, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested the University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. There are serious allegations against him of money laundering worth crores and being linked to the terrorist module.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police arrested Al-Falah University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui and presented him in the court. Considering the seriousness of the case, the court has sent Siddiqui on police remand for four days. Investigating agencies say that so far two separate FIRs have been registered in this case. During the remand, the police will interrogate Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui in detail about the administration of the university, financial transactions and other suspicious activities. The police hope that this inquiry will expose many secret and illegal activities going on within the university.

Connection of Red Fort blast and Terror module

Al-Falah University has been in controversy not only due to financial irregularities but also due to being on the radar of anti-terrorism agencies. During the investigation, a module was discovered in which doctors working in this university were allegedly involved. The most shocking revelation is that a university doctor was allegedly found involved in the car explosion that took place near the Red Fort on November 10, 2025. Ever since this terror link came to light, agencies are keeping a close watch on the activities of the entire university administration and its officials.

ED chargesheet: Assets worth Rs 140 crore attached

ED is also conducting a strict investigation against Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui and Al-Falah Charitable Trust. ED has filed a chargesheet against Siddiqui and other accused under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. The investigating agency has so far attached immovable property worth about Rs 139.97 crore in the form of about 54 acres of land and construction done on it. According to ED, Jawad Siddiqui had complete control over all these institutions and units and is the main beneficiary of the ill-gotten gains.

Violation of NMC rules and administrative clout

The investigation also found that Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui had complete administrative, financial and operational control over Al-Falah University and Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. As Managing Trustee and Chancellor, he held other office-bearers only as nominal or proxy persons.

He is accused of violating the rules of the National Medical Council for running the medical college. Siddiqui had obtained the necessary approvals and certification for the medical college by hiding important facts and giving false information. During the remand, the police will also try to investigate the network behind these fake documents and wrong information so that this huge corruption in the field of education and medicine can be exposed.
