Cognizant announces 100% bonus after hitting targets ahead of schedule

Cognizant Technology Solutions, a leading IT services company, has announced a 100% bonus payout for its employees for the year 2025.

The decision comes after the company achieved its internal benchmark of "Winner's Circle," two years ahead of its original target.

The term "Winner's Circle" is used by Cognizant to denote top-tier performance within its global peer set based on revenue growth, margins, and execution metrics.

Cognizant's CEO, Ravi Kumar S, acknowledged the hard work and dedication of employees in an internal mail, as seen by Moneycontrol.

He said, "Our 2025 results are the direct outcome of your hustle, disciplined execution, and commitment to our clients and to Cognizant."

He further added that they have authorized funding their discretionary bonus program at 100% to recognize this effort.

The company has a workforce of over 350,000 employees globally with a majority based in India.

IT giant's remarkable performance in CY2025
Financial performance

Cognizant achieved a constant currency (CC) growth of 6.4% in CY2025, the highest among large IT services firms. This contributed to its entry into "Winner's Circle."

The company's earnings supplement revealed its revenue growth ranking among peers has steadily improved over the last few years, from 10th place in 2022 to eighth place in 2023, then to sixth place in 2024, and finally to "Top Tier" status by being among top four performers by revenue growth within its peer set.
