New Delhi: Honda have brought a new trim of the Shine 125, called the Shine 125 Limited Edition. It is based on the Disc trim of the commuter. The special edition comes with cosmetic changes while retaining the mechanical package of the standard bike as well.
The biggest difference in the Shine 125 Limited Edition is the blue colour scheme and the revised ‘Shine’ graphics on the fuel tank. Even though the Pearl Siren Blue colour is also available on the standard bike, the Limited Edition further differentiates itself with painted alloy wheels as well.
Other design elements include chrome trim around the headlight, side panels and seven exhaust covers, which have been carried over.
Mechanically, the Shine 125 Limited Edition remains identical to the standard bike, powered by a 124 cc single-cylinder air-cooler engine that makes 10.8 bhp and 11 Nm of torque and is mated with a five-speed gearbox. The Limited Edition also retains similar features of the Disc trim, including a fully digital instrument cluster, side stand engine cut-off and USB Type-C charging port. The pricing starts at Rs 86,211 (ex-showroom).
The Honda Shine 125 is one of the brand’s best-selling motorcycles in the Indian market, and the Limited Edition trim comes with a much more premium-looking option with bolder graphics and coloured alloy wheels.
