The applicant, Semau, wife of Ramesh, resident of Phula police station, Mohanganj district, Amethi, gave written information to the police station Mohanganj that on 20.01.2026, the applicant had gone to the satsang at Dama Kheda, Chhattisgarh. When she returned to her home, she saw that the gold and silver jewelery and money kept in the cupboard and box inside her house had been stolen by unknown thieves. On the above information, advance legal action is being taken by registering a case under relevant sections at Mohanganj police station.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Amethi Aparna Rajat Kaushik and under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Amethi Gyanendra Kumar Singh, in the course of the campaign being run to arrest crimes and criminals in Amethi district, under the able leadership of Area Officer Tiloi Dinesh Kumar Mishra, the police station Mohanganj, under the able leadership of the wanted, care area and checking suspicious person, object, vehicle, on the information of the informer, 04 accused Suraj son of Baijnath resident of Phula. Police station Mohanganj district, Amethi, age about 25 years, Rajkumar, son of Srinath, resident of Phula, police station Mohanganj district, Amethi, age about 19 years, Arjun, son of Kedarnath, resident of Phula police station, Mohanganj district, Amethi, age about 25 years, and Deepak Singh, son of Sant Baksh Singh, resident of Phula, police station Mohanganj district, Amethi, age about 20 years were arrested.
From the possession of accused Suraj, 01 chain, 01 ring, 01 necklace of yellow metal, 02 pair of toe rings, 01 pair of anklet white metal and Rs 10,000/- in cash were recovered from the possession of accused Rajkumar. 02 nose nails, 01 mangalsutra of yellow metal, 02 pair of toe rings, one coin white metal and Rs 11,000/- in cash were recovered from the possession of accused. 01 Maang Tikka, 01 pair of ear rings yellow metal, 01 pair of hathphool, 04 pairs of toe rings white metal and Rs 10,000/- cash were recovered from the possession of Arjun and 01 nose ring yellow metal, 01 half belt, 02 pair toe rings, 01 biscuit white metal and Rs 10,000/- cash were recovered from the possession of accused Deepak. Accused Suraj arrested during interrogation. Told that Ramesh is his family uncle whose wife Semau lives in the same village.
Semau had gone to Dama Kheda Chhattisgarh Satsang with her daughter on 20.01.2026 and there was no one at her house. Suraj, along with his other associates Rajkumar, Arjun and Deepak, entered Ramesh’s house on the night of 20/21.01.2026 and broke the lock of the cupboard and box and stole gold and silver jewelery and Rs 41,000/-. Today they all had gathered to distribute the stolen goods. On the basis of the recovery, advance legal action was taken by Mohanganj police station by increasing section 317 (2) of BNS in the above mentioned case.
