Jeremy Clarkson has mocked his former co-stars, James May and Richard Hammond, in a new video. In the clip, the presenter is seen reviewing CVs, suggesting he is seeking new faces to join the upcoming Grand Tour. The official Instagram page shared the amusing video with the caption: "Jeremy has a message..."

The video shows the TV star looking through potential candidates and teases: "These are the CVs from all the people who want to be a presenter on the new Grand Tour show." Going through pages, he commented, "No... full beard. Hello, my name's James May... God, he sounds dull." Looking at new face and motoring influencer Thomas Holland's CV, he reads out loud: "Once held a 1300 metre drift. Zero evidence has been uncovered.

"Frequently presents an opinion as if it is fact, and then, if challenged, will change the subject. Yes, funny man."

Clocking new co-host train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois' CV, he praised: "I know this one. He's the train man from the internet.

"Yes, he's got a cycling proficiency test, 2020 vision, but claims he can see behind him. Yes." Moving on, he noted: "No. Got a moustache. No."

Sifting through another fake CV and appearing to refer to the pint-sized Richard Hammond, he says: "Blahhh.... I'm 5ft 4..."

Jeremy then mockingly disregards the CV. He continues on to the next candidate: "Once reviewed an entire car using only sarcasm. Height depends on what dating app you find him on. That's funny," and he stamps "approved" on new blood James Engelsman's resume."

He then takes a whole stack of papers and barks: "You lot, I'm afraid, were unlucky. Let's get them in. They look good. Get them in."

Fans commented: "HOLY COW, IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING." A second added, "James May catching strays as usual."

"This is awesome," praised a third. One die-hard fan disapproved: "No one could ever replace Clarkson, Grandma May, and Richard."

It comes after the Grand Tour's new presenters have been officially unveiled.

The Prime Video series will be back with three brand new stars - and they are all online influencers.
