RCB WPL 2026 Champion: RCB has once again proved its threat in the Women's Premier League. Royal Challengers Bangalore has won the Women's Premier League title for the second consecutive time. In the final match played in Vadodara, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets. The big thing is that Delhi had scored a huge score of 203 runs in the final but these runs also proved to be less for RCB captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Wall. These two players broke Delhi's dream of becoming champion by making an explosive century partnership for the second wicket. However, Radha Yadav played a very important role in the victory by hitting two fours in the last over.

RCB's wonder

RCB had a very bad start while chasing the target of 204 runs. Grace Harris was out after scoring only 9 runs. The Delhi team felt that today was their day but Mandhana and Wall cleared their misconception. Both these players, especially Mandhana, snatched the match from the hands of Delhi by batting stormily. In the powerplay, both of them took RCB to 59 runs and after that both of them added 50 runs for the second wicket in just 29 balls. In 10 overs, both of them took the team's score to 100 runs and both of them broke the morale of Delhi by making a century partnership in just 58 balls.

Georgia Wall scored her half-century in 37 balls while Mandhana played only 23 balls for it. Mandhana completed her half-century with the help of 2 sixes and 5 fours. Mandhana and Wall together added 165 runs in 92 balls. When Wall was on 79 runs, she was caught by Shefali on Minu's ball. However, she had done her job and had taken RCB to a good position.

Delhi had trapped RCB in the 19th over. Shinele Henry put RCB under pressure by bowling Smriti Mandhana for 87 runs on the fourth ball. After Mandhana's dismissal, Radha Yadav came to the crease and Minnu Mani dropped the catch of Radha Yadav on the very first ball. After this, 10 runs had to be scored in the last over and Radha herself hit two fours in the last over. In this way Delhi lost the IPL final for the fourth consecutive time.

Jemimah's innings went in vain

Mandhana-Wall played a good innings but Delhi captain Jemimah Rodrigues also gave her all in the title fight. Jemimah scored a half-century in 32 balls. Apart from him, Laura Woolfart also scored 44 runs. Shinle scored unbeaten 35 runs in 15 balls. It was on their strength that Delhi made the highest score in the final but the bowlers disappointed and Delhi lost the most important match.
