RCB vs DC WPL 2026 Final: Royal Challengers Bangalore has won the Women’s Premier League 2026 title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets in the final. This is RCB’s second WPL title. Earlier in 2024, it had won the WPL title for the first time by defeating Delhi. This is the fourth time that Delhi Capitals team has lost in the final. Delhi Capitals have faced defeat in the finals of 2023, 2024, 2025 and now 2026.

RCB becomes champion of WPL 2026

RCB captain in this match Smriti Mandhana won the toss and decided to bowl first. In the title match, Delhi Capitals, batting first, scored 203 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Royal Challengers Bangalore successfully chased the target of 204 runs given by DC by scoring 204 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 19.4 overs and defeated Delhi by 6 wickets. RCB captain Smriti Mandhana was selected as the player of the match in this match.

Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Wall played explosive innings

In this match, Smriti Mandhana and Grace Harris came to start the innings while chasing the target of 204 runs won by Delhi Capitals. Harris was out after scoring 9 runs. After this, Mandhana along with Georgia Wall took the team’s score to 148 runs. For the team, Wall played an inning of 79 runs in 54 balls with 14 fours. There itself Mandhana played an inning of 87 runs in 41 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes.

Radha Yadav gave victory to RCB by hitting a four at a time when the team needed 10 runs in the last 6 balls to win. Nadine de Klerk supported her by scoring 7 runs. For Delhi Capitals, Chinelle Henry took 2 wickets while Nandani Sharma and Minu Mani took 1 wicket each.

These batsmen scored runs for Delhi

Earlier, for Delhi Capitals, Shefali scored 20 runs in 13 balls with 3 fours, Lizelle Lee scored 37 runs in 30 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Jemimah Rodrigues played an innings of 57 runs in 37 balls with the help of 8 fours. For the team, Volwart played an unbeaten inning of 44 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes in 25 balls. So Henry played an unbeaten inning of 35 runs in 15 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Nadine de Klerk, Arundhati Reddy and Sayali Satghare took 1-1 wicket for RCB.
