Lalganj (Rae Bareli). Kotwali police conducted a special campaign in the city area on Wednesday. During the campaign, illegal hooters and VIP passes installed in vehicles were removed. Besides, the black film on the mirrors was also removed. Inspector in-charge Pramod Kumar Singh said that this action was taken on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police.
During investigation, illegal MLA and VIP passes were found in four vehicles. The police got the passes removed on the spot. Black foil was found on the windshields of many vehicles. The drivers were explained about the violation of rules and the black film was removed. Some drivers were also given strict warnings.
Police instructed drivers to follow traffic rules. Said that strict action will be taken if any violation of rules is found in future.
