Samsung Galaxy S26 series teaser released
South Korea’s leading tech company Samsung has released teaser videos for its upcoming flagship Galaxy S26 Series. Three teaser clips – Closer, Groove, and Glow – have been released under this series. In these videos, the company has focused on the upgraded features of the camera, which include zoom, low light photography, and video recording at night.
Three models, same design
The names of the phones are not mentioned in the teaser video, but it is likely that the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra will be part of the lineup. All three teasers show the silhouette of the camera island, which houses three vertical camera sensors. This design is similar to the existing Galaxy S25 series, which makes it clear that this time there will not be much change in the look and design.
Clear zoom from distance (Closer)
The first teaser shows off the zoom capabilities of the S26 series. In this, a camera starts from a distance and zooms in to a dog sitting inside a car, and everything is clearly visible. The zoom capabilities of the Ultra models of the Galaxy S series are already renowned, and they are likely to be further improved in the Galaxy S26 series.
Better photography in low light (Groove)
The second teaser reveals that the background automatically brightens while recording in the dark. This shows that the company is focusing on low light photography and night time video recording in the upcoming series. Along with the camera, the S26 series may also see upgrades to software and processing, which should improve the quality of photos and videos at night.
Glow in the Dark Video (Glow)
The third teaser claims that the phone can record bright videos even in dark environments. It is believed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may include a new shooting mode with the main camera sensor, in which the pixels will be used in different ways to capture more light.
Estimated camera specifications of Galaxy S26 Ultra
According to some leaked information, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to have a 4 camera setup. It is expected to have a 200MP primary camera, 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and 50MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, a 12MP camera may be available on the front.
AI upgrade
Samsung is known for its AI features. The Galaxy S26 series is likely to make the AI even smarter, with upgrades to the hardware as well as internal software that will improve the user’s camera experience.
