Apple is soon going to roll out its next software update, iOS 26.3, for millions of iPhone users. The company has already released three beta versions of this new update for developers and beta testers. Reports suggest that a fourth beta is highly unlikely; instead, a Release Candidate (RC) version may be released in the next few days. If no major flaws are found in the RC, the stable version could be rolled out to everyone in the first two weeks of February 2026.

What are the new features in the iOS 26.3 update?
Transfer to Android feature
In iOS 26.3, Apple is introducing a feature for the first time that will make data transfer from iPhone to Android much easier. Users will simply need to keep both devices close together and will be able to easily transfer contacts, photos, messages, notes, and other files.
Notification Forwarding to Non-Apple Devices
Furthermore, with this new update, Apple is also taking steps towards making iOS more open. The new update will allow iPhones to send notifications to any non-Apple device. This means you'll easily receive notifications on your Android phone and smartwatch as well.
New Privacy Settings
Apple has always prioritized privacy. iOS 26.3 will now include a new option called "Limit Precise Location," which will prevent carriers from tracking your street-level location. This will further enhance your privacy.
New Graphical Changes
In addition, this new update will improve the lock screen and home screen experience. The update will introduce a new wallpaper menu with a dedicated section for live wallpapers. These wallpapers will change according to the weather. This means the wallpaper will reflect the current weather conditions, whether it's rain, clouds, sunshine, or snow.
