UP News: The Uttar Pradesh government has recently made a big change for the citizens of the state, under which PAN card has now been made mandatory for buying and selling of immovable property in the state. According to the new order of the Registry Department, during the registration of land, house or any property, it will now be necessary to provide the PAN number of both the buyer and the seller and get it verified online. The government has issued strict instructions in this regard to all the district registry offices of the state.
Now without entering PAN card information in the online application process of the registry, the application will not be able to proceed further. The main objective of this step is to bring transparency in property transactions and prevent financial fraud.
Why became mandatory for PAN card registration?

According to administrative officials, this new system will bring transparency in buying and selling of property and illegal investment can be completely stopped. This rule has been implemented uniformly in the entire Uttar Pradesh, which all the registry offices have been directed to follow. Now it is mandatory to provide PAN card information for the purchase of any type of land or house in Uttar Pradesh. Without PAN information it will not be possible to complete the registration process.
