Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2” and Yash’s “Toxic” will release on March 19. Both these films are releasing all over India making them a strong contender at the box office. But before that, news has surfaced that “Toxic”, a KVN production, has partnered with country’s largest multiplex chain PVRINOX Pictures in Telugu states (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh). This means that only “Toxic” will be screened among the films that will be screened on PVRINOX in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, causing a huge loss to “Dhurandhar 2”.

It is expected to hit the film hard. There will be a big impact on his earnings. Andhra and Nizam are areas with large Hindi speaking population. Bollywood movies are already very successful here. Released only in Hindi, “Dhurandhar” grossed Rs 50 crore in the first three weeks in the Andhra and Nizam circuits. If Part 2 is released all over India, the film will lose in Telugu states, but Yash will gain big.

Reportedly, the makers of “Toxic” have already paid Rs 40 crore as commission for the deal. PVRINOX Pictures plans to allocate small territories to local distributors in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while retaining the remaining selected territories. This will benefit the film not only in Telugu states but also outside them.
