District Magistrate BN Singh held a review meeting with the concerned officials in the Collectorate auditorium on Friday regarding the preparations for the census. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on conducting the upcoming census work completely through digital medium. The District Magistrate gave clear instructions that the training of all the master trainers associated with the census work and the officers/employees involved in the census should be completed in a timely and quality manner, so that no difficulties arise during the work.
The District Magistrate said that for successful implementation of digital census, availability of technical resources, internet connectivity and advance testing of equipment should be ensured. He also directed that a calendar of training programs should be prepared and all concerned should be informed in time, so that every employee can have complete information about the use of the app and software.
In the meeting, the District Magistrate also gave instructions to set up a separate room for census work, so that the expenses and resources to census can be managed properly. He said that census is an important national task, all departments should work in mutual coordination and complete all preparations within the stipulated time. Additional District Magistrate V/R Vagish Kumar Shukla, District Minority Welfare Officer Sudhanshu Shekhar Sharma, District Basic Education Officer Mukal Anand Pandey, District Economic Number Officer Santpal Verma, District Supply Officer Dhruv Gupta, Additional District Information Officer Vinay Kumar Singh and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
